Here's how Level 2 works, and some of the key things you'll learn:

PART 1- Skills for Identifying and Writing Actionable Principles

This consists of 10 sections where you deep dive into natural law, first principles, and principles. There are video lessons, vetted readings, and exercises, and family read-alouds, just like you've experienced in level 1, with the added opportunity of using the skills I'll teach you to begin making your own lists of first principles, and later actionable principles.

Your readings will rotate between non-fiction and fiction, giving you the chance to learn and then see those principles in action in story form. And you'll be given tools for understanding how to read every type of genre and then practice: short stories, letters, fairy tales, poetry, Shakespeare, plays, and more!

You will also do certain exercises which will hone your discernment skills like "following the arguments to and from first principles" and identifying the "broken principles." You will also learn how the 5 Types of Questions can be a huge help in finding principles, and you'll discover how to utilize them in your search for truth. 

In four of the sections, after you've learned how to write an actionable principle, you will be introduced to the "Application Plan" form where you will learn how to plan out your principle practices. You will practice that principle as you work through the next section. You will also learn new habit skills you can utilize each time you practice a new principle.

By the time you complete part 1 you will definitely have a strong handle on natural law, first principles, and principles--what they are, how they work, and how to identify them and understand them. You will know how to read and find principles in any genre. You will feel empowered to discern truth in everything you read, hear, and watch. You will have new tools for knowing how to practice a principle, utilizing new habit tools. And you will have written some of your actionable principles and practiced them!

Part 2- "Principle Centered Mother" Project

Motherhood: In this section you will be given several required and other optional readings. You'll spend time in these readings, utilizing all you've learned to create a principles of motherhood list for yourself. Then you'll choose one principle and begin practicing it.

One other area: You'll do the same thing again in a second area of focus: health, finances, marriage or education--your choice! You'll read, create a list and begin practicing a principle!

As with Level 1, your purchase of Level 2 will include one year of the MDM Community including the regular live mentoring sessions and discussions, the on-going community discussion, and the member directory.
